I first met Dr Ruberu at National Hospital Sri Lanka in the year 2000. At that time He was the ENT surgeon for Teaching hospital Karapitiya.
He had come to conduct a mock ENT clinical examination for the MS part 2 seniors. I was a 1st year registrar. There was a spring in his step and sense of boundless energy that made him stand apart from the more serious Consultants.
A warm smile and aloud “How?” for the doctors and sincere “Kohomada?” for the nurses and the others.
The consultants selected cases from the numerous would cases be brought by us.
